Micheon uses a cognitive behavioral approach to build a strong alliance and relationship with clients and reach optimal growth and outcomes. The goal is to help clients find greater meaning in their relationships, improve their ability to communicate, and find satisfying compromises.
Through a family-centered practice, Micheon is also dedicated to empowering children and families to express themselves and foster independency by breaking away from social, emotional, and developmental stigmas. Through the practice of play therapy, Micheon nurtures the self-esteem and resiliency of clients in order to cope with adolescence, divorce, remarriage, and other developmental transitions.
