Valeska obtained a M.S.Ed. in Counseling and Mental Health Services as well as a M.Phil.Ed. in Professional Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania.

She has experience working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis, suicidality, discrimination, and self-esteem challenges.

In her practice, Valeska’s therapeutic approaches of choice are cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy and mindfulness. However, she makes use of other approaches when it serves the client meet their goals. She wants to ensure that all individuals feel safe and welcomed in the office.

She considers herself an attentive and flexible therapist. Valeska enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and woodworking in her spare time.
